Acceptance is key.
Only when we truly accept our current situation and let go of ideas of how it was supposed to be, and fears of what could be, can we really move on towards a desirable goal. Because it is only then, that we start from the present moment, from our actual circumstances, and not from unpleasant experiences in the past or fears about the future.
